Tween-80, also known by the trade name SORBOX-80, is a high-purity non-ionic surfactant and emulsifier widely used in pharmaceuticals, food, cosmetics, and industrial formulations. It is chemically known as Polysorbate 80, and is produced by the ethoxylation of sorbitan monooleate.
